Jimmy Mac, wud you accept it?
It'd send out the wrong signals and it'd be yet another area of the team we needed to strengthen with selling clubs knowing we had coin to burn.
Yeah we could get another Connor Wickham with that
In a heartbeat.
£12m for someone with one half decent season in the Premier League who we bought for peanuts this time last year. We'd be mad not to, in my opinion
No, simply for the fact that come next summer he could be worth 20 million
I'd sell for about £7 or £8m to be honest. He's done well for us, but he's replaceable. Everyone has their price.
he's far too handsome to only be worth 12 million.
Or he could be worth £2m if he has a poor season.
Teams would be paying for potential as he's far from the finished article. We could buy proven talent for a few positions with that sort of money.
Are you people mad?!
Him and Sessegnon are our best players. Do you think it's that easy to find a replacement for him with just 7m? FFS!
Absolutely, those saying no need to take off the blinkers
I think you could sign Matt Jarvis for £5m who's consistency is better than McClean's. I'm not saying I want to sell him, but for the right price I would sell anyone (and yes that includes Sessegnon).
What's your price for Sessegnon?
Aye. He's only had a half good season.
Somewhere between £12m and £15m.
I think I would take maybe 13-15 million for McClean
And 18 million for Sess.
incredible ambition. Staggering, in fact.
or perhaps those saying no feel as if we should show a small bit of ambition? You know. Perhaps we should look at keeping our best player(s)? What fucking use is £12mil in the bank, I'd rather we had 1 or 2 players on the pitch capable of something special, thanks!
