Anyone going tonight? Can't wait me like!
Is he on? Whereabouts mate?
Yes mate, he's on at the empire / formerly the sugar shack in middlesborough tonight. I think theres still tickets, didn't get ours till yesterday afternoon!
I'm off to see him on Friday in Manchester. Career spanning set by all accounts.
Will be class that, bound to do some stuff with UNCLE and mani. 20,000 sell out!!!
Yeah few my mates going! I hope its a career spanning set tonight, now that would be special!! This bloke makes gallagher look like joe longthorne.
was pretty poor last time I saw him, until the last 15mins when he sang a few Roses tracks and the place went up
Have fun lads, make sure you get very, very drunk to enjoy his operatic vocal skills

I've never had a problem with his voice i know its not the best but his song writing, music production and one man performance is second to none! He was brilliant again last night I'm a fan but not a massive one, but have always walked out buzzing after everyone of his gigs i've been to.
Everyone knows what his voice is like, fuck knows why people like you feel they have to point this out everytime a thread like this pops up.
I know mate your spot on there it gets very tedious, If i want opera i'll go to opera! Be suprising how many performers actually do have bad voices Ian brown just always seems to be used an example! The man is gifted and can be no denying that.
He might be gifted but he's fucking awful live.
Couldn't disagree more, he's fantastic live
Agreed, if I was bothered about how smooth someones voice is I'd like the x-factor and would never have liked The Fall
Because if nothing else it's fucking funny. I have full respect for The Stone Roses but the fact he can't sing a note is something which will always come up, lighten up you prick
It's funny how many times?
The lad will have a top night and I'm jealous as fuck
seen him a few times... depends what night you see him on... he can be up there with the best of them, or down there with the peeps who don't even make the x-factor finals... the night the floor gave way at the carling in newcatle is a great example - the rearranged gig the following feb was tragic...
Saw him at the City Hall in December, he was superb.
His latest album My Way is a fucking fantastic. Stellify was originally written for Rihanna.
Thought his performance was spot on last night like. Only downside for me was lack of Roses stuff, only did Fool's Gold in the encore, which is probably the weakest Roses song for me
Aye - I've always enjoyed him live, but his vocal performances vary wildly.
