How did meyler get on After getting on as sub ?
Thought he looked good. Didn't he have a hand in the build up to our last two goals?
Ran around a bit - didn't really get many touches
Should have done better with a 'chance' right at the end
Best work done celebrating 2nd goal
Confused the hell out of me continually by looking like O'Shea playing wildly out of position, possible due to bad quality stream, possibly due to bad quality eyes.
Thought he steaddied the midfield when he came on. Couple of good bursts ito the box and should have made it 5.
Perhaps I'm being greedy!
This is what I like about Meyler, he lays the ball off and drives on as opposed to lay the ball off and stand and wait for it to come back to him.
Settled and calmed the game imo.
We should petition him to grow the tache back.
Although for you he'd probably end up looking like O'Shea's evil twin.
Great pass in the buildup for the 3rd.
That would be amazing
Steady, which was exactly what we needed.
What i noticed was when he gave the ball to sess on the counter, and then drove on. Looked like he realised everyone was knackered, and was happy to take on all the work on his own. Can't wait to see what MoN can do to him after a while, considering what he's done to the rest of em
Great how O'Neil uses the players without compromising the performance of the team.
This. Substitutions seem to slot into the team without upsetting the flow what so ever.
Bruce's idea of a tactical change was to put more strikers on the field.
