We've gotta be in for him to add to the defence.
villa may end up having had a good window
quality not quantity
SSN reckons he's goin to Fulham for talks. £4M bid in for him.
Not sure he'd want to be back up right back to O'Shea.
He wouldn't be.
O'Shea to centre half, Hutton to right back - job's a good'un.
O Shea could move to cb or left back and still be the best player at our club .
O'Shea's just as good on the left, apparently.
Strange one like, if he ends up going for a few mill to fulham or villa. Why were we not in for him.
Aye with no LB No striker or no LW the job is defintely a goodun
I was thinking more along this or, O'Shea and Brown centre back with Rico left if needs be.
Absolutely this. Having O'shea and Brown at centre back would make me feel more than comfortable when leaving Hutton to go haring up the wing. Hutton is a far better attacking threat than pretty much every wide player we have and is no worse at defending than Elmo.
Fulham after him for £4m SSN
that ship has sailed imo
Talkshite say he has signed for Villa  any truth?
Can't understand why we have not gone in for him.
Better than what we have, had a good loan spell last time.
Can defend and bombs down the wing giving us good attacking options.
Cos he probably believes we have better at right back.
Fulham or Villa FFS, why arent we even interested in him.
Probably because the fee is £4m and with his contract due to expire in 12 months they don't see him as value for money, similar to N'zogbia. I am not defending this stance by the club as i'd love to have him here, but we seem to have done this on a few occasions now, Riveros was a similar scenario.
He's a better defender than Elmo.
agreed. Hutton isn't that bad a defender, he's just mediocre. His mediocreness gets magnified because his attacking instincts leave him far up the pitch.
