Good player, how likely is it we will get him?
I would have thought a lot of clubs will be in for him, bet he goes to spurs.
Suppose the one thing we can offer him over "better" sides is guaranteed first-team football every week.
But yeah I reckon he'll go to Spurs unfortunately.
Arsenal could want him if they cant get Dempsey, they need someone to play behind Podolski. Tottenham wouldnt use him much. He'd enjoy his time here much more.
Would be a cracking signing mate, be interesting to see who Mon goes for.
Could you imagine the pace up top if we got Hoilett .
..............( ? )
Depends a lot on the bloke himself.
I doubt it will be Man Utd/Man City/Chelsea.
So it will depend on if he'd prefer to sit on the bench a lot at Spurs/Arsenal (Or possibly one of the 1st three mentioned).
If he'd rather be a bench-warmer, he can fuck off anyway, so it's win-win in that case.
The only problem is, if we have to battle Everton, Skunks, Liverpool. Doubt we'd get him over any of those three (if they're in for him).
Aren't Bayern Munich interested as well did I read last week?
Indeed you did.
Would like to see him here but there will be a canny few top teams after him as well. MON may be able to swing it though
Moyes was at the game last night and I wouldn't be surprised if he was keeping tabs on either or both of Hoilett and Moses. There will be a scramble for Hoilett's signature although we should have the financial clout as you would think Everton spent the family silver on Jelavic in January.
would be a brilliant signing. wouldn't be surprised if his wages are way bigger than we can afford.
That looks class
Hang on, I thought if you played for a relegated team then you were automatically a bag of shite?
Thats just our relagated teams I always look at who we could sign from the relegated teams there is normally a few good players.
Hoilett by the look of things mate
I think he'll be off to a bigger club unfortunately
I'd hope we play our cards VERY close to our chest until the signing is official, simply to stop the Mags PR machine going into overdrive to wind us up.
unless of course we can pursuade ashley to pay for his flight?
doubt we would have a chance tbh
or train from Manchester Picadilly at least!
Seriously though, their marketing dept is genius, anyone we get linked with, go out to scupper it, look better, wind us up.
