plenty good advice below on baiting a trap--surprisingly enough cheese is their least fav bait. Whereabouts in South Tyneside--any DIY store will have spring loaded traps. Got some off Keith at Boldon DIY a couple of years ago that sorted out the problem in my garage in no time!
