100% agreed
but this is Sunderland
we don't do 'must wins'
we only do impossible/unlikely wins
we should treat Cardiff like they are the best team in the league and we'll get a result
 
This happened most recently in the home Hull league game. Players looked ill at ease from the start, Bardo intercepted, Wes Brown lunge and we were never in the game. In the last three displays , ( admittedly only one of which was at home against a decent side ) we at least managed to look comfortable with our system and little combinations around the pitch have started to work. I'd start with the same team v Cardiff and see how the first half goes - a draw suits neither team but let's not be the side who gets caught on the break
 
Top liking from Apple Pie. Not sure many will respond anyway as everyone is still gutted from us beating Chelsea.
