(joint) top of the Blue Square prem, 5 wins out of 6. Anyone watch them from here?
always look out for the scores and then watch their highlights on the internet, was very impressed with them when watching, Gateshead v Safc reserves. They have a striker/winger who is rapid, can't remember his name begins with 'o' like.
Fuck off The Heed etc.
Seriously, they seem to be doing well this season. Would be a fantastic achievement if they manage to go up and could bed just the springboard they need.
That big black lad Omni they have was superb yesterday, fast as hell and puts a good ball in, then Shaw is a natural goal scorer, its looking good for them so far.
I know, and dont they hate the toon? or they hate gateshead? sometime about not letting them join the league years ago?
Would love to see them in the football league.
They've added two or three top signings and look fairly unbeatable.
Think there's history there but not sure exactly what it is.
I know that the Heed hate Spartans and vice versa but that's because they've been knocking around the same leagues for years now.
do keep a eye out for them like. they have also helped me win a few coupons this season ( including last night )
No love lost with the mags.
First time in the bottom 4 and voted straight out for geographical reasons. Too far to travel north. I used to go to Redheugh as a kid.
Aye, I was there yesterday, entertaining side with a fluid 4-3-3, scoring goals and winning games (take note, Brucey).
saw them at Barrow on Saturday, canny side like
If they eventually got into the EPL would you hate them like the mags or like them?
been honest think I would like them until they beat us.
I went to the FA Vase/Trophy (whatever) semi-final at their place last season when they played Darlington. The crowd was canny. Seemed like a lot of Newcastle fans were there, and I heard a fair few referring to us as 'the scum'. But, at the end of the day we were all there to support Gateshead so it's neutral ground.
Be absolutely brilliant if they had a real push for promotion. Just a shame it's a shit place to watch football.
Maybe this a wrong pre-conception, but I get the impression the vast majority of people watching them will be mags, or people who have the mags as their second side and probably dislike Sunderland.
Good luck to them and all that, but I won't be turning up to watch them anytime soon.
Separate names with a comma.
