... as a lifelong Sunderland supporter. I cannot remember a more inept performance. Honest.
I've seen worse in the past year!
Everton 7 - 1 Sunderland
Or Chelsea last year.
same, I couldnt even watch it to the end I walked out of the pub as soon a the 5th went in, was surrounded by plastic mags with southern accents it was horrible
me too. at least in the 15 and 19 point seasons we knew we were shite and kind of expected a good hiding every week, didnt see this coming, totally gutted
Still the FA cup semi final against Milwall for me like.
Is this our worst defeat to the Mags for ... I'm trying to think? I thought we were in the game for the first twenty minutes, and then it turned, badly. Relegations feel worse though.
I was at both of those games, too. Of course, today hurts all the more for being the derby. Chelsea I could take, because they happen to be really good. But Newcastle aren't and today we made them look like Brazil. Shola will never look as good again and Nolan appeared as Ronaldinho. It was incredible, really.
How many Everton fans ripped you a new one the next day? Fucking none that's how many. They are going to fucking gang rape us on Monday and beyond whether you like it or not.
I'll tell you what's a thousand times worse than this, getting relegated to the third division.
Getting mauled by Chelsea and unable to do fuck all is also a lot worse than this.
How long have you kneejerkers been following the club?2 fucking years?
Well, that's it. And rightly so, in a way.
All of my life, the lower divisions included. I have never witnessed a worst local derby - and that's the nub.
we play them in a couple of weeks too.
I think this is the worst I've felt.
Considering how much has been spent on this squad and who/how we lost against today ,i feel worse than when we went into div 3.
not even fucking close. For starters I don't know any Millwall fans. This is the worst I've felt as a Sunderland fan without doubt.
