Gonna watch Midnight Cowboy later and was thinking what a great soundtrack it has. This being one of many excellent tunes on the film

Once Upon a Time in America and basically any movie with Enrico Merricone music I.e.The Good the Bad and the Ugly.

Some immense soundtracks on older films

Definitely. I usually like most of Bernard Herrmann's work such as Vertigo, Marnie and North by Northwest soundtracks. This one for Cape Fear too.

His Twisted Nerve theme has since been used in Kill Bill and American Horror Story.
