Permanent...played well but hopefuly a deal is done.
Good. He's not an awful player but doesn't justify his wages imo. He'll be good for them in that league.
You are a reliable poster mate. But with no manager, how can this be ?
Would have to take a canny pay cut
Cant see why he would do it when he could run his contract down and go on a free witch would also give him better wages at his next club
how much? I assume not even a quarter of the amount we paid for him. Canny bit of business that was by Roy..........
can't see it.
If we, for some reason, do sell him to West Ham it will be for a gigantic loss
Think you'll find Barry Silkman does all the transfers for the hammers.
That's not him you mug.
Approach been made, sunderland more than happy to let him go.
I like Ferdinand, seems a decent fella and he's not a bad player.
That would leave us with 2 centre halves :-(
Maybes to be used in some sort of exchange with Demba Ba
Unless they are prepared to, say, write off any remaining transfer fee, this doesnt make sense. How can a championship club afford to pay PL wages? Unless, perhaps we've agreed to pay Ferdinand off.
har de har de har
this..tony gayle hinted at the same on sky a few days ago, he's probably his agent..we'll end up subsidising his pay to ge rid of him
1)West Ham have no manager and won't be making decisions like this yet.
2)Highly unlikely they could afford Ferdinand.
3)No chance whatsoever West Ham could afford Ferdinand's wages and no chance Ferdinand would leave for smaller wages when he is available for a bosman in a year and potentially a very lucrative signing on fee somewhere.
yuo don't think sullivan and gold would let something as silly as not having a manager get in the way of signing players do you?
They made a bid for Graham Dorrans last summer without a manager if I remember correctly.
