It does in the sense that the various story lines develop and conclude in a satisfactory fashion.
The vibe is the same though so if you're not a fan after the first three you probably won't come round to it with more episodes.

I suspect that if it has hooked you by now then it probably won't. No shame in that, there has never been a TV series made that everyone liked. Sometimes you have to accept that it isn't for you and then move on.

I think its the storylines that are the issue. I love the world etc as loved the games.
Episode 4 was an improvement so going to crack on

You've done half of it then. Might as well crack on - one of the things I like about the series is that it's only 8 eps long so doesnt drag on like other series have.

I absolutely loved it. But me wife for example would have hated it.

I have no idea of the storyline, I'm just admiring the scenery, and shouting at the screen, "for gods sake, search the damn place, there could be all kinds of stuff there!"
