Bit of a non event really for all non Christians isn't it? Do you celebrate? Or ignore?
sunday dinner, few beers, watch footy on telly. same every weekend.
Same as really, though I got suckered in and bought chocolate oval shaped stuff for the children. As ever.
had to buy my niece something, shes only 4 month and a reckon my sister would of killed me if a didn't, but other than that its just a extra day off
All the shops are shut. It's shit.
Never had an Easter holiday since I moved here which is strange given the amount of god bothered who are always blathering on about the constitution until they get to the separation of church and state bit.
Got no family here so just another weekend but I do like mini eggs.
That's what makes it good. Some people can't live the Metrocentre.
all the shops are shut today ???? all supermarkets ?
Having a proper christmas day-type dinner, all the trimmings. Gerrin.
I'm going out to get pissed, that's about it really.
I work at Morrisons and all Morrisons are, not sure about the others but would presume so...
aye just checked, tescos also, must be a local florist open somewhere though
Pretty unlikely - Easter Sunday isn't included in the Sunday Trading laws.
You might find some corner shops open.
ok thanks for the info
What about petrol stations? Are they open?
They're allowed to open.
Easter Sunday's always been like this, it's not new. Shops have never been allowed to open as long as I remember.
seems so , i just checked tescos petrol stations are open
I'm going for a walk up Tinto Hill, back for sunday dinner and then football on sky - happy easter
are the metros on today?
