South Korean forward Ji Dong-won has played down rumours linking him to a move to Sunderland, but admitted he is looking to move abroad. The 20 year-old is one of Asia's most promising youngsters and recent reports suggested Steve Bruce's side were on the verge of signing him for the next three seasons. Speaking to reporters ahead of South Korea's friendly against Ghana on Tuesday, Ji confirmed he is still on the market and plans to use the match as an opportunity to showcase his talents. "Nothing is set in concrete at this stage," said the forward. "But I agree that the game against Ghana is important for me to show my abilities to clubs based overseas." Rumours emanating from Seoul claim that Sunderland and Ji's club Chunnam Dragons are in the final stages of negotiations, with only a transfer fee to be agreed upon. Ji's current deal with Chunnam runs out in December 2013 but he has a buy-out clause which Sunderland may look to exercise if ongoing discussions fail to pan out.
