On SSN now, taking a break from football for health reasons.

No indication on what is wrong though hope its nothing too serious.
 


Extended leave from football due to health reasons ????!:confused:
 
doesnt look good. The warning signs were there when he started losing all that weight.
 
Has ulcerative colitis. My dad got it in his 20s and had to spend six months recovering. Can take tablets that keep a lot of symptoms at bay but not a nice illness.
 
Played a few times this season tho hasnt he ??? Hope its not too serious
 
Scored an excellent goal against Man City. First Vidic and now this, City will trounce the league.

Is this one of the illnesses they were talking about giving people faecal transplants to help cure?
 
My mother was diagnosed with it last year, couldn't eat, drink or sleep at times and is still taking medication for it now!

It is an awful condition to have like, could take a while for him to be back!

The missus has had it for years, not as bad as Crohns disease as that affects the whole digestive tract, but bad enough.

Doctors more or less treat sufferers as guinea pigs because they don't know how to treat it, only way of getting rid is by having your colon removed, but doctors only ever do this in the most serious cases.

Well lets hope that doesn't happen to him.
That would probably mean the end of his career for one thing!
