What combination of results could do for them?
Mathematically yes, in the real World no.
technically yes, realistacally no. Newcastles goal difference is worth a point
Not if you don't want us to go down as well
Their goal difference is loads better than ours, which beggars belief as our manager was a top
for me we need 1 point to banish all fears of the drop, they already have said 1 point (plus a superior goal difference). so it's a no from me.
No. as their on the same points as us and were 'mathematically safe'
Goals Conceded... NUFC: 51. SAFC: 52
Goals Scored... NUFC: 49. SAFC: 39
The difference is in the Goals Scored column mate.
They've conceded 1 less than us FFS and SB was a defender if you get my drift
Canny few defenders purchased by Bruce as well.
Our goals conceded and clean sheet record is still a lot better than our league position suggests... our goals scored is actually worse. Our big problem has been finding the net, not keeping it out of ours...
Although I appreciate it could be massively improved, especially in recent weeks.
When you consider their strike force is.. Leon Best, Peter Lovenkrands, Shola Ameobi, Nile Ranger and Stefki Kuqi... the goals scroed comparison is more embarrassing imo
The whole thing made me depressed.
Even less chance than us going down, say what you want about them but Barton and Nolan are battlers.
And until Christmas we had the 3rd best defence in the league.
They were mathematically safe?
So are you saying they're no longer mathematically safe?
He doesn't play for us tho.
Means Jack Shite
Whilst Keano was a top ....
ok then 'we are' grammar boy.
was just taking the piss out of the other thread.
edit - just re-read my post and can see why you got confused
They have a decent solid midfield that can also score goals. Probably.
