If you fancy a classic black and white film The Apartment with Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine is excellent.

I also make a habit of watching Die Hard and It's a Wonderful Life before Christmas every year.

There was a canny Santa animation we watched the other year, dunno if it was Arthur Christmas? 3 generations of Santa.

We watch bad Santa every Christmas eve, but getting a bit bored now, polar express in 3D probably this year.

Also last year watched a bit of the reindeer adventure thing, not a film but was canny, dead peaceful watching it on the projector

We got took to the pictures to see 'Scrooge' with Albert Finney. The ghost of the future bit when he falls in the grave really freaked me out as I was only about five.

Aside from that I still like it now and we watch it every year and sing along to 'I Hate People' and 'Thank You Very Much'!

National lampoons Christmas vacation
The Santa clause
Ernest saves Christmas
Paranormal activity the ghost dimension (it's set at Xmas)
Petes Christmas
Jingle all the way
Batman returns
Scrooged
The nightmare before Christmas

The Jim Carrey Christmas Carol is class imo. The Grinch, Fred Claus. We watch all the Harry Potters in December too.

The Great Escape. It's on every Christmas and is a classic.

Planes Trains and Automobiles maybe?
