Sums the clueless twat up like
Was saying to the wife that the mark of a good manager is the ability to change the game around the 65-70min mark.
If anything we got worse after Bruce's first substitution. There was no shape to the side and we were completely overran in central midfield.
70 mins first sub
noble on for the last few mins with another striker moving to the wing
predicted these about 20 mins before kick off
He did his usual thing. No plan B, instead throw all of his strikers on and see what happens
Exactly, yet clueless twats like Winnie still defend him.
I would have brought him on earlier, problem would have been who to take off? Possibly Richardson and push sess back into centre midfield?
What is classed as a plan b then? He took a midfielder off for a striker, not sure what classes as a plan b if not that.
Elmo and put Sess on the right
it was the type of game where that boy should have at least 20min of .yes the lad may be a raw talent but that game was a perfect one to give him a good stint from the bench.
Aye possibly with ji left? Might have been worth a shout
Noble has to start next week.
I'd start ji personally
Its all about playing the players that make the team the best, not perhaps the best players.
Bendtners hold up play is great but he likes to drop into the hole to get the ball, when we don't have another player up front their defence pushes up squashing the hole.
Ji also seems to like to be a link up forward rather than the one pushing on.
By playing Noble who might be raw it stretches their defence and allows space for Bendtner to drop into.
Noble also seems to have a much quicker mind than Ji who seems ponderous on the ball. Noble was full of running off the ball and was happy to play one touch football.
I'm not saying he's the best player in the world but sometimes its about whats best for the team and without Wickham who seems happy to be on the shoulder we need that replacing.
Good post and you're spot on.
Bruce said after the mags game that we suffered throwing 3 strikers on the pitch as nobody knew where they were.
Since then, he has done it against Brighton, Chelsea and now today. More than likely other games as well.
The bloke is a fucking idiot
Ji looked clueless and well out of his depth. I've never seen a lad as excited as Noble to get on the pitch, hopefully his enthusiasm will pay off and he doesn't just want to go on the pitch to swap shirts!
Substitutions are meant to help change the game, with Bruce they just seem to disrupt any flow we have and ruin any chance we have
