With the Wigan keeper lol fuck off
What was with him tracking back and putting in a tackle as well
The way the commentators and pundits are banging on "you'd expect Bent to put that away" - have they seen him play? With the exception of Andy Cole I cannot think of a striker, who whilst obviously very good, I have so little faith in to score!
Give bent time to think and he is much worse a finisher.
He should phone Bolo for some tips
I bet it didn't put 'Frying Pan Face' off picking him though.
EDIT: PS Cappello looked genuinely disappointed when Wigan went ahead, the Itie Creep.
Andy cole developed into a really good finisher at manutd, at Newcastle he had a poor chance/ goal ratio though
This. He's an instinct striker. If the ball drops inside the box, he's one of the best at lashing it into the net in a split second. But he has never had the composure to outsmart a goalkeeper in a one on one situation.
I think yesterday was officially the slowest at which anyone has ever rounded a keeper to score. :-D
Did seem to take a fucking age like.
Ben't pockets weighed him down, that's why Zenden was quicker.
