The similarities are uncanny.
At least Murphy could shoot.
How dare you soil The Dazzlers name.
and head the ball
That's actually a pretty good comparison
Apart from the fact if Murphy had been put in the same position tonight, we certainly wouldn't have scored 4 goals.
And if he'd been in the same position this season, we'd still be in the bottom 3.
Bendtner has been involved in most of our goals since M'oN joined. He's just the latest in a long line of people to piss and moan about.
He was outstanding in the first half like, we'll do well to hold onto such a talent.
He's been asked to play a role he's not used to. With him in this role, he's been heavily involved with most the goals in the MoN games that have put us 2nd in the "form league". But you're right mmmmmick, he's shite. Smiley face.
he's our most talented player bar sess, and because he's not the good old try hard player that our fans seem to crave constantly, he's criticised. i'd rather have that type of player in the team over a bardsley type player anyday.
He played well in the second half...
He is an annoying player 'cos he looks like a big puff.
But he got the free kick to get the first goal and his cross to Sess for the second was sublime.
I think we need to lay off a bit.
The lad has ability Tommy, but he is a frustrating player. I don't see him as our long term fix. In fact I see Connor Wickham higher up the pecking order on his return.
I agree with all of that. But comparing him with Murphy is way off the mark.
He's a talented player with bags of ability, he's just a bit of a lazy bastard and seems to fancy himself as a winger. So frustrating to watch cause If he played target man a bit better and put a shift in he'd be banging them in.
I can't agree with you more on this...
I'm not down on him overall but when he starts holding the ball on the wing taking on three defenders it drives me crazy.
Know and play to your strengths man - Sess you are not.
You seem to forget the simple fact that he is a striker.
If he cant score goals or hold up play, he's about as much use as Jon Stead.
It's his game and for the first time we are seeing some fruition due to the midfield braving forward runs. Yes we need a finisher for sure. He's usually a lone man up front looking for space ending up on the channels, christ people complained when Philips needed to do it when he had no service. If people could explain the options I would be ok with the criticism.
people complaining about his touch and technique are taking the piss or know shite about the history of recent ex safc forwards.
