Not a surprise to me.
Not too dissimilar to the Tory outrage over Leah Betts.
QFX came to our school to talk to us about drugs (and put on a gig in the afternoon) as a result of that.
all self serving lying clunts
I think it's not so much a problem of believing Governments but believing the press. The Government were far too quick to jump on the bandwagon and ignore sensible advice from experts.
Hopefully the new Government don't make the same mistake and are prepared to make 'media unfriendly' decisions based on sound medical advice.
so govt drug policy is based on the press reporting of events??
Some of it appears so. The M Cat policy was based on a Media outcry rather than sound medical advice. It's not the first time it's happened.
Thats exactly how this was banned, seven people resigned from the governments 'Advisory Council' because they were basically being told by the government just to say 'yeah it's bad stuff' so the ban could go through quickly.
Not acting was a potential vote loser on this occasion as well.
I don't fancy yours much!
Never heard of them!
It was back in '97 like - was only 11.
