1:30-1:45pm arriving at the ground for a game kicking off at 3pm. Genuine question, is this normal practice? Seemed a bit rushed to me, must have been straight off coach to warming up? Contributes towards a poor standard match?

I know we defended well and kept a clean sheet, to a good standard.

Get a feel for the place? Shit hole mind so maybe a good thing. Just seems a bit rushed from getting off bus to warming up and kicking off a premier league match. Like I say, I don't know what's a usual time to arrive? If that's the norm then fair enough.

Was listening to Don Hutchison this week & he said the players are just bored in the dressing room before the warm up as only takes a few minutes to change. I think around 90 minutes before is normally mate but not sure these days as been years since I saw the coach arrive

Arrived very early at Newcastle in 2008 and the Mags turned the heating on full belt in our changing room. We conceded 2 early goals.

Was by chance on the way to the cricket ground that I seen it pulling in. In fairness it felt like a complete age to get to burnley for us (ALS, never ever again) so seeing the team arrive after probably makes it feel like more of a rush than it perhaps was.

For their wage packet Id expect them to sit on benches of ice in rooms infested with bullet ants and not complain.

Out of interest what was wrong with ALS? - I went by supporters association main branch and it was a bloody long trip for such a short trip if you see what I mean.

No wonder most of the sensible ones go by train.

Same. 10min stop off on a lay by with no explanation. 30mile outside burnley and stop for 45mins, get to burnley and need to wait half an hour for a police escort. If they want to arrive at a certain time and not allow for too much drinking, then why not set off later? Didn't enjoy my experience with them, fair play to ppl who do.
