Top 4, Yes or No?
No for me
At the rate they're going probably not even top 6.
Yes by default. No one else is good enough to overtake them.
Depends if Wenger finally decides to splash the cash and if he sorts out their weaknesses or just signs more projects.
They have no real cutting edge, i'd be disappointed if we draw with them at home this season.
Heart says yes (their football is superb) but head says no unless new signings are made.
But Nasri and Fabregas were the main part of the great football and their going if not gone, they HAVE to spend some money or else there gonna find themeselves 5th or 6th.
They'll get money from Shiteh when Nasri finally goes, but if tonight's stories about the payment structure for Fibreglass are true there will be less cash to spend than anticipated - at least in the short term.
I'm sure they'd still give him the money if he wanted to sign someone. The problem is he just wants to sign people like Jadson and Oxlade-Chamberlain when they don't fix the problems they already have.
You wouldn't like it but they should try and re-sign Lassana Diarra, then someone like Cahill or Samba and an old fashioned number 9.
Basically, they need a dominating spine to their team to allow the fancy players to play.
Despite their violent outpourings towards NUFC and Barton in particular I'd much prefer Arse to get 4th ahead of Spurs or the scousers
Knowing Fibreglass (and presumably) Nasri are going I never could figure out why they never went for Mata by matching his release clause (£17.5m).
They need a commanding CB to start with. I can't help but think though they'd walk the league if they just had a shot once they are in the box. It must be frustrating watching your team passing it around in the box trying for the perfect goal whilst passing up a million shooting opportunities. If they were just more ruthless in front of goal they'd be unstoppable.
Wenger seems too stubborn to change it.
I've already predicted 8th or lower - - - -
Just watch them win the prem at a canter -
arsenal 8th or lower
Aye, that was very strange, would have been a good signing for them and it would have placated all their fans. Would have let them get rid of Arshavin too, who looks shot.
On the evidence of yesterdays game they've not got a hope in hell unless they get in a world class keeper, two new midfielders to replace Nasri and Fabregas, a good keeper and a world class centre back.
But Wenger would rather sign 18 year olds from Charlton and Southampton
Samba would fit the bill for that.
Definitely. Can't believe they haven't signed him yet tbh.
I think it all depends on whether Wenger decides it's time to spend some cash, at the moment, losing Fabregas (and in all likelihood Nasri as well) is a major blow for them, if they don't replace them, the best I can see Arsenal finishing is in the top 10...
They seem to realise that they need someone like him but then can't make their mind up on which one to go for. Jagielka, Cahill, Dann, Samba and Mertesacker have all been linked but they should have signed one ages ago.
