despite the abuse tonight. and he's just under 2 years older.
Are you pissed
tell me what wickham has done that is so amazing.
I agree, Wickham hasnt done owt more than Ji.
Although I'd still prefer Wickham ahead of him
I don't rate Wickham at all tbf.
Hopefully he'll prove me wrong.
Never been given fair crack of the whip IMO
he has but hes had more oppurtunities.
they both need to be judged next season.
personally think they will be class for this club
how does saying ji is nearly two years older than wickham make him come out better?
Both are shite along with Campbell. We need two or three new forwards and i'm sure O'Neill knows it.
No, we need 5 new forwards. They are all shite...actually we need a new team, maybe even a new manager...:roll:
Wickham just looks more natural on a football pitch, ji seems a bit of a headless chicken.
Too early to write either off though, especially ji, coming from a completely different league and culture at a young age.
Yep....but that wouldnt be a lot so far.
Early days for both though.
This. I have high hopes for wickham, he looks much more complete than the majority of 18 year olds. It's tough to judge Ji at the moment but he is struggling IMO. He is always offside, as soon as he plays the ball he runs past the defenders. Needs to learn to time his runs
I thought the title was has wickham shown more than Ji
I change my answer... Wickham has shown more
Ji's shown TOO much! He shouldn't even be on the bench.
Awful awful player. Reminds me of that numpty Keane signed way back.
I think it's a pretty irrelevant discussion, as BOTH of them are miles away from a genuine Premier League striker - if that club has the desire to be in top 10.
Of the two, I'd go for Whicham, however in an ideal world they wud be 4th/5th choice behind far better, stronger, more goal-threatening forwards.
I shudder every time I think we paid nigh on £10m for these two last summer....
