I hate derby day, and I just think it tempts fate to listen on the radio.
If getting a bit pissed before the match and watching through your fingers counts then yes! Ha'way the fucking lads!
be hard to avoid when watching it
Getting a bit pissed helps like
Yes I'm a reet puff
If you can't get to the match, how is it possible to avoid the score whenever we play? Nevermind on derby day!
Listening on the radio is more nerve wrecking that watching the match live IMO. I struggle to follow what is going on and it does my head in.
I couldn't prevent myself from looking for the score if I wasn't going.
I hate it too. I was happy when they were in the Championship last season so I didn't have to go through the trauma.
I for one will be finding many other things to do.
I couldn't not go.
Gave up listening to games on the radio years ago for this very reason can't stand listening to it and not being able to see for myself whats going on.
Phones off, telly off etc it's a superstition really. The last home derby I went to was the 1-4.
every time I listen to the radio s'land are rank - I heard 2 secs of the Nott's co. game - & heard their goal.
On Sunday I'm going for a long 25 km walkin the morning & at 3 pm our time I'll gingerly click on pure football and ...........
Agreed, matches on the radio are torture IMO.
whats happening on Sunday?
