How do you concentrate on things after kicking fags?
initially "inhaling" hacks helped me.
Not an easy thing to do but still off them for 25 years.
Good luck and keep the faith
This will sound really daft, but it works for me. Concentrate on something else. Take your thoughts away from a tab and focus on something else.
I was on 20 a day, mate. Laugh at cravings now. Still get them. When I get them I find something to do. Fish tank, ironing, work. there is always something. Craving disappears
Electric tab. Currently chuffing on some nice melon flavour nicotine.
Had one of those for two days and gave it up. Made me feel ill
I don't think I've made myself clear.
I mean when i want to concentrate on something I have a fag. Now I don't smoke I struggle to gain concentration.
Was it a while ago? I believe they've come on a bit.
They do make your mouth dry like.
Buy some tabs mate because I have not got a fucking Scooby what you are on about
Over 12 months
I'm writing an essay. Normally to "get in the zone" so to speak I would have a tab.
Have a tab, mate. Plenty of time to give up later
Ah right. Maybes not then.
I like mine. It's like a little chemistry set.
suck all of the ink out of your pen
It's got you like a wreck. Have a tab, write the essay and quit next week.
to be honest, if your head is not right and its driving you 'daft' then the time is not right for you to try quitting.
Have the same problem mate, my advice would be don't give up untill its summer, fucking hell tried giving up did for like month and a half became a right miserable twat and would bite peoples heads off for no reason this were in November mind. Summer best time to give up by far.
Actually I'm fine. I don't want or crave a tab.
I just struggle to find a level of concentration in the way a tab used to help me to.
Listen to mozart, make sure your in a good environment for working, and keep hydrated.
I think I understand where you're coming from. It's not really the tab though it's the need to step away from the physical proximity of what you need to do. I don't smoke at work but sometimes have a wander out with a colleague who does for some mindless banter while going over the work in the back of my mind.
