Newcastle crowd today
another good turn out for a north east club
That fat radio bloke on the radio last night said 50000 tickets had already been sold
Arsenal mustn't have sold out
ESPN - "Over fifty thousand who were lucky enough to get tickets"
very good crowd, mags are weird, if they actually did boycart the club ashley might leave or at least stop being a knob.
More than we'd get
Oh dear. Less than 50,000 at SportsDirect.com@SidJames'Park against a top 4 club.
Them poor phone boxes.
you've spelled 52,000 wrong marra
As I posted earlier
1729: Here come the teams at St James' Park... packed to the rafters as always... and it would appear a positive reception for Joey Barton is in the offing. One banner reads "One Joey Barton" - a compliment from some, a relief to others.
1841: Gabriel Obertan slips in as the man behind frontman Shola Ameobi - but it's a scrappy start to proceedings in the second half. Just under 47,000 fans inside St James' Park wait for a spark...
Thousands of empty seats ...... shite for the 1st home game against Arsenal.
they love a bit of history rewriting even if its only seconds old.
I'm surprised they didn't sell out. What's happening ?
they always sell out though , some must have bought a ticket and not gone
Given how in their words "utterly huge" the Mags fanbase is, I think they should be disappointed at having 6000 empty seats on the opening day against a top four club. There'll be 3000 Arsenal fans there too.
They're boycoutting until the club is back in the top 4.
Who gives a shit, they have played champions league football in the last ten years, we have been shite. They're bound to.
god!! sooooooooooo what? pathetic how people care about how many people turn up for their games, its the amount of goals and points won that count at the end of the season not attendances.
