So we had plenty of time to sign them when our season finished didnt we?

Did i say he wasnt an attacking midfielder?

    Bas Dost
    Luuk de Jong
    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
    Honda Keisuke
    Frederico Chaves Guedes

    long shot
    Klaas Jan Huntelaar
    Aleksandr Kerzhakov - Zenit
In normal circumstances I would look at them too...
Fred would be a superb signing. But i wonder why he isn't at a top club in Europe. Either has some sky high wages, either he just loves to play in Brazil and won't leave for any club.
Honda is more of a midfielder and he would cost a fortune.
The Gabonese guy had his first good season in France. It would be a risk, just as those dutch players who are unproven in a strong league. Kiessling? Would be great, but i don't think he would want to come.

We need safe bets right now. Maybe after MON builds a strong side and finish in the top 10, we'll go for an unproven dutch player or two. But until then I would be extremely happy to see Fletcher and Defoe in Sunderland shirts.

Aye, because that was what you meant. It wasn't just that you didn't know.

    Oh, wait...

Tbh i didnt know Elms had signed for someone else no. I do know where he plays as in poor in euros.

    Same as Bas Dost.

Abdellaoue could be still available, i dont know.

What i do know is we should have been in for them.

The OP is a genius and should immediately be added to the scouting staff

If you don't follow European football enough to know when these kind of transfers happen, then you are in absolutely no position to know what you claim to know in your final sentence.

On FM2010 I had an epic game where I won the PL 8 years on the bounce and the CL 6 out of 7 years as SAFC.

This was my best 11 for my first Champions League winning season (2015/16):

    Guillermo Ochoa
    Rafael
    Roberto Canella
    Mathias Jorgensen
    Holger Badstuber
    Jack Rodwell
    Moussa Sissoko
    Lee Cattermole
    Ivan Rakitic
    Andrej Kramaric
    Neymar

So Martin, if you're reading (which obviously you are) take a look at these lads. Except Catts, he's a clogger.

    Thats bollocks im afraid.

You send your scouts to track the best prospects in europe, watch them to see if they are what you need and if you think they will fit in.

It was clear they were available at the end of our season. Their agents put that out. It only takes a phonecall. Its a bit pointless waiting until they have signed for someone else.
