Default I know ESPN are excited about having Ligue 1...

... and I really enjoyed last night's match between PSG v Lorient.

But I cannot believe they've opted to show Reims v Marseille tonight when Dortmund are taking on Bayern in the German SuperCup.

They haven't got enough channels to show all the foreign leagues they buy rights to. (Well, they have, but they insist on using just one to show live football.)

Enjoying having the French footy back. Agree ESPN could do with another channel to broadcast live games when there is a clash. Wonder what they will do when Serie A starts as both will have 7.45pm Sunday evening live games.

    Agreed.

As for clashes, I've got a horrible feeling they're going to alternate: looking at the first weekend where there's a clash, they're showing Serie A on the Saturday night and Ligue 1 on the Sunday.

Hopefully, but I don't think ESPN have ever used it before.

They have used ESPN Classic to show two Europa League matches simultaneously, but only when both involved British clubs.

Didn't even get to kick-off before he started spouting his cliched bollocks.

Their scoreboard looks like the ones you sometimes see in the back of a car, or in the front window of a kebab shop listing special deals.

It's good to watch great technique & very physical plus better atmospheres than the sterile Premier League.
