I would to just to prove how wrong they were to be so ambitious and sign loads of players. I hope it comes back on them. But I just don't see it.

All their new signings are pretty much players who are well used to playing in the Premier League for clubs who are very solid ones who have cemented a long term future in the league. And I do count Blackburn till obviously the start of last season which is largely to do with Steve Kean.

And of course have seen things we have not; like Europe. Fabio and Park-Ji-Sung have played in the CL and Andy Johnson has played in the Europa League for Fulham.

If you want players who know the nuances of the league and can fall back on their lengthy experiences of playing in the league for such a solid club, you want the players they have attracted.

So does it not count that Wes Brown and John O'Shea have played CL football for years? Does the quality not matter, rather than the level they've played?

QPR barring Hoilett haven't signed anyone I'm fussed about. Andy Johnson is a player I actually rate tbh, but the lad is the wrong side of 30 and has been injury prone for yonks. He's scored three goals or less in the Premiership over the last three seasons. He had his last good spell last season after about three years without one. I'm actually fed up of defending him.

I really don't understand the issue with them

Are people forgetting the ridiculous amounts we spunked on players when we first came up with Keane, Drumaville and later Short's first couple of years?

There is a reason we still show in the top 6 net spends in the last 5 years - Because we basically did exactly what they are doing. (8 Million and 50k a week for Ferdinand etc...)

They could also easily get 30k plus every week at home and seem to take a decent away following (Certainly better then Wigan, and Blackburn, Fulham etc...)

Seems to be fashionable to dislike them but not sure why.

So everyone should be this massive club, free-spending like City and Chelsea before you're OK with them?

    You utter wanker.

QPR have faced years of shit, never touching the big time, and finally they have someone putting a bit of money in and you begrudge them that?

I know a few QPR lads - absolutely top lads, love their club through thick and thin (mostly thin), and I for one have a lot of time for them for it. I also know plenty of other clubs' fans (comes with the territory, being an expat) and these lads put them to shame - and fair play to them.

Fucking SkySports watchers like you that only get a hard on for 'big clubs' make me sick. Not every club has tens of thousands of fans, and not every club has millions behind them - that doesn't mean they're not proper fans or proper clubs.
