The PF bellends are renowned fanny itchers.

no, I've travelled to Bury to watch Steve Doyle play for us
Shrewsbury to see Billy Whitehurst inspire us to a 0-0 draw
it'll still be Sunderland regardless of which overpaid twat happens to be wearing the shirt

Agree with all that but we have been a bit rubbish in the transfer market so far.
The season starts on Saturday.
I don't care how we do (I do prefer us to win mind), I take what comes but the management team haven't really covered themselves in glory this pre season.
By that I mean the executives who do the deals and MON who asks for the players.

a game lasts 90 minutes, the transfer market lasts until 31st Aug, truth is nobody knows what is going on, they appear to have locked everything in so well that there could be something amazing happening that we know nothing about, we'll just have to wait and see
but newcastle are about to sign another exotically named superstar so people piss their pants, the internet has had a negative effect on transfers, the agents just spread shite to the ever willing masses and it spreads like wildfire

tbf if we snatch a decent striker on loan [at worst] then we have a squad that is more or less the same as last year, though will cuellar replacing turner and plenty of players you'd hope/expect to improve from last year [colback, ji, wickham, mcclean, gardner, meyler, possibly sess by virtue of having a full season of knowing where his best position is]

Same here mate but does that mean we have to have continuity on the grounds of being shite . Its set up to be totally different to those circumstances now so why settle for 3rd best all the time . Lets have a decent side that can more than hold their own in the top flight of football for a change . Im pretty sure Mr Short and MON think this way to.
