I'm not in the panic camp, far from it, actually looking forward to the season and trust in MON fully. Christ you've even got Mancini moaning about City's lack of activity in the press - who would have thought they would be the ONLY prem side at this stage yet to sign A player
I do wonder what is actually going on behind the scenes though, what do people genuinely believe is happening? All will become clearer in the next couple of weeks I guess
But I couldn't help thinking MON looked a tad pissed off and frustrated in his post-match interview at Derby when discussing our business, not sure if it was just me or it is the general lack of activity that made me imagine it
Are we just generally struggling to get things done? Did O'Neill not anticipate any of this and is growing frustrated? Is Margaret Byrne totally blameless perhaps?

Load of shite, biggest myth on here.
How many players have we signed in the last 5 years.
Probably more than most.

We always seem to take a long time to clinch transfer deals. The personel negotiating them has changed this season but nothing has changed as far as speedy negotiations.
Perhaps it's difficult to conclude negotiations due to that old chestnut of undisirable locality, or that we are now looking to get value for money as far as wages go .
No idea to tell the truth

This is exactly what I'm getting at tbh. If it really is the case then there is something badly wrong in our current structure in that department

Clubs wanna take us for a ride, I think. Wolves are having a laugh with Fletcher. Turning down fucking £12 million? He's worth half of that, IMO. Moxey should be sucking us off just for being interested.

Re: Transfer negotiations
We are trying to sign quality, hence the delay, unlike last season when we did the opposite

I don't understand why her being a woman has anything to do about it. She's obviously very intelligent and wouldn't be in the position she is in at her age if she wasn't some what of a prodigy.

This current period would suggest otherwise

I've seen enough on here to come to that conclusion.
You keep having a pop at "this woman", grow up for christs sake.

She'll get very little respect in the football world regardless of how intelligent she is, she simply won't be taken seriously.
