I feel as if Ive been here years. The people of the city and club are incredible.

It is a truly special place, with special people, and I fit right in that like a glove.

The supporters here are world class, the best in the world, everyone knows that. But the team has maybe slipped a little, and that's why I've been brought in.

What I want to do is inspire the city, that's the overall mission. I want every Liverpool supporter worldwide to be proud of the club, and for us to be successful we have to make it the longest 90 minutes of an opponent's life when they come to Anfield.

I promise quality, quality in my work. I have studied nearly 20 years to be the very best I can and that has taken me through working with kids to coaching top players at Chelsea.

My work will be quality, the players will enjoy the work and think that bit differently in how we play

We need style and steel. We must pass the ball with arrogance and back it up with a willingness to defend.

I do not want to make predictions or big statements, but I think he will (and has) fit in very, very well at this football club.

I think this man is delusional in the extreme. His reaction to playing us at the SoL last year, and how it had been a treat for the people of Sunderland to 'discover' his Swansea side was one of the strangest reactions to a defeat I've ever heard.

I think he'll be a disaster at Liverpool, and I can't understand anyone wanting to follow Dalgleish in that job, as unless you win something big, you are on a hiding to nothing, and that team at present is not going to do that.

Be interesting to see how the Liverpool fans react during games when they have possession of the ball for 90% of the game yet fail to get into the final third of the pitch.

I agree totally, when Swansea came upto the SoL last season while they were good at keeping the ball there was no end product. Trying to play the Barca way is all well and good, but you need the players to play that system. IMO that will take a few years to get the players he wants, the Liverpool fans wont give him that time!

A bit on the smarmy side but can honestly see him doing well, they have some good players and his coaching is light years ahead of Dogleash, he was clueless.
