Will upload more when I get time. Got a few night photos of Brandenberg Gate along with Berliner Dom and some nearby museums.

Then got a fair few of just all over the place during the daytime. (East Side Gallery, Soviet War Memorial, Reichstag, Red City Hall etc)

Not really much PP on this. Shot in RAW and just a few touches with the RAW tools.

What kit you use for this Malmo?

Cracking composition but focus perhaps a bit soft/short?

Could just be imageshack when the resolution was jacked down, but aye, looks a bit soft.

Like smoker says, good composition.... no cars around like? some light trails could have brought it to life.

I think it's just imageshack being an arse again.

Was using my canon 7d with the tamron 28 75mm lens.

I have got a couple with light trails but surprisingly it was dead down there for some reason. Wasn't much busier in the day when it got to around 5pm. Got some better ones as well from the other side. Will post them up later.

Apart from the plastic tourists it's one of the best places I've ever been. I haven't been all over but its rated higher then places like Munich, Oslo and Copenhagen. For a photography perspective it's fantastic just for the diversity from architecture down to just the cultural element.

This might be just with imageshack but for some reason it seems my file sizes aren't too large. Either than or I've fucked up with my raw files. If all else fails I've got git big jpegs.

Ive been to Berlin twice but was years ago, Just before the wall came down and just after. I loved it back then the difference between the two halves was amazing. Scary when I got locked in no mans land at check point charlie like! Got some photos of me chipping away on top of the wall with a hammer and chisel I hired 1 mark for 30 mins, still got the chippings in a box
Really need to go back and see whats changed.

Its going under a lot of redevelopment like a lot of the european cities. Still has a good split tbh. Just going from by the gate down to alexandplatz there is a distinct difference in how it looks and feels.

Went there by accident but walked down karl marx alle before heading to east side gallery and it felt like i was walking in a russian city. Fantastic architecture in some parts. other parts you get the concrete blocks.

Even some of the buildings have bullet marks left in them. Overall I thinks its a lot nicer than going to london. Was chilled out the whole time i was there. (apart from checkpoint charlie) which is crap these days. My dad was brought up in berlin in the late 60s and my grandad has some fantastic photos of the area with russian tanks, now it just feels a bit plastic with people wearing fake uniforms and you can have photos wearing hats etc. On the whole though it still has that east west feel.

Was there in 1986 - amazing city. East Berlin was pretty grim though. The city centre was well looked after but the suburbs hadn't seen a lick of paint in years. There were still bullet holes in the walls from WW2.

I've got a photo of a building that is still derelict and is right by potsdam. Must have some significance as everything around it had been done up.

One thing that made me laugh was thinking on some buildings. "how on earth did a bullet get up there!?"

Just behind my hotel I think there was part of a uni campus or the like and the buildings there hadn't been touched. Also next to my hotel seemed to be what was an old prison but haven't got a clue.
