Your argument appears to be that, because he hasn't signed for someone decent, in July, that this proves he's a shite 'keeper?

So, hypothetically, if Gordon ends up at a decent club, will people take the view that he's a good 'keeper or will they say 'that manager is a bellend for signing Gordon'.

What happens if he ends up at Chelsea? Not ITK or anything, just saying... Cech has looked very dodgy of late. Wouldn't be surprised if they sign a new 'keeper.

I wonder what he was asking for at Celtic and what Celtic offered.

The rumour I heard was that Celtic were only interested in a loan as they couldn't afford to pay him £30k on a permanent basis.

A loan from where? Gordon doesn't have a club.

I think he will end up going abroad. More money on offer out there.

This was back in January, when Gordon was an SAFC player. I can't see that much will have changed to alter Celtic's ability to pay this. I'd imagine that, should they want a 'keeper, this kind of wage is within the structure of most PL teams, so I think it's unlikely that Gordon will look to drop to a level that Celtic can accommodate.

As an aside, Gordon has repeatedly said he won't play for an Old Firm club, but as all footballers are prostitutes these days, if they make him the best offer, he'll become a Hoop at the drop of a hat.

    Chalk and cheese...

One's a proven world class striker...

The others a average keeper who's previous club were shafted when they bought him.

Gordon is available for nowt and still no-one want's him......and it's not all about his wage demands.

What i'm saying is that IF he was as good as some on here think he is he would have been snapped up already.
