Precisely how it will play out, I think. If he is one of the ones who have had their wages halved by relegation he isn't going to sit and accept it if he can get a big pay rise elsewhere.

My guess is someone gets him for around £10m.

we'd have to take the gamble of going abroad for cheaper.
would much rather pay something like 8mill plus some coin for appearances and goals for him. think he'd be a good player for us, suits what we're trying to achieve.
