    Yep, clubs can withdraw players from that tournament iirc.

    No Wickham, Butland, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ravel Morrison, Flanagan, Ralls, Bamford, Will Keane, McEachran...

    Players may well be missing. But judging from the hour I saw the next generation of England players are no further forward technically than the current mob. Indeed the only "good thing" about the performance is that the U19's play exactly the same way as the first XI.

    If you want it in a nutshell; from the hour I saw.

    1/ Rigid 4-4-2;
    2/ Big, strong, powerful & athletic lads with great engines, but little technical ability;
    3/ Very limited off the ball movement;
    4/ Too much emphasis on the early ball over the top for the forwards to chase;
    5/ Too much hoof ball from the keeper & the centre backs;
    6/ Loose and sloppy passing;
