    Anyone have any experience of these, I've binned sky after god knows how many years, so looking to get a good one that's of the all singing all dancing type

    Yes I've got one, the box isnt the problem its the freeview channels. Most of them are pretty crap. There are far too many shopping channels for a start.

    My parents have a freesat hd foxsat recorder thing, they don't miss Sky+ at all. They've had it a few years so it's more than paid for itself now.

    Sounds like Sky as well

    TBH most of the stuff I watch is on the free channels, will probably only miss Sky1 and Atlantic, rarely watched any others, stuff I watch on those 2 channels I'm just gonna download from now on anyhow.

    I'd have just kept the Sky HD box I've got, but the tossers shut off all your Sky+HD options as well like the pause, rewind and record.

    Foxsat HUMAX PVR

    about £250 notes...

    will do everything you want

    just subscribe to Flash sports and you get sky atlantic and sky one on it now.. as well as all sky sports, sky mopvies and varuious other options..
