If you mean the George from Farnham Road, that went 10+ years ago, now an Aldi supermarket. Not sure about the Brickmakers, but if you mean the Brikckmould that has gone now as well
It was Bricklayers I think, wasn't in the High Street though but a road junction on corner. 'The George' that Im thinking of is on the left hand side walking down the High Street from Crispin, practically opposite Red Lion. At least I think it was called 'The George', could be wrong though

Great friendly for me given I live 5min walk from the ground.

The George is on the high street, only been in a couple of times and it's been empty each time. The bricklayers is down lent rise, the road down to Sainsburys from the football ground. The Bee always busy, any night of the week.

Saw Burnham a few times last year. Very average side for most part. Got beat by Bishops Stortford in FA Cup and huge gulf in class between them and a BSQ North side.

Looking forward to next week even if it is just the kids and Cast offs.

For those of you who havven't heard of Burnham, they play in the Southern League Central Division (3 leagues below the Conference). Burnham is a suburb of Slough, and not to be confused with Burnham on Sea in Essex.

My guess is that the game will be our reserve side tbh as the first team play in South Korea a couple of days later.

MON has probably done them a favour as he has a house just a few miles from there and maybe knows someone at Burnham FC.
    Yer kiddin'- right?

Nothing on Burnham FC site or SAFC site. I emailed Safc and got a reply saying first team in Korea next week and I should look at web for pre season fixtures.

All sounds a bit strange. Was it ever mentioned on Safc.com?

I think it is unlikely seen as the reserves are playing Whitby on the 18th and Newton Aycliffe on the 20th

You're right mate, I had the misfortune to work on the Slough Industrial Estate for a month which seemed like a fucking eternity. I was staying in Burnham and I actually looked forward to getting out of the pub and going to bed and then work in the morning!

The atmosphere in the pubs was shite and even when Arsenal were playing Spurs* they sat around in their replicas and were actually chatting to each other! What a totally shithole. Stay away peeps, Ah tell yah !!

*I'm not sure if it was these two teams on the night but they were both bleedin' Landan teams.
