Worth every penny.

yeah she mentioned the pass. I think they went to Harvard today, but looking at the pics, they seemed to do most the stuff you & Ms Knickers did, the Cheers bar, park etc.
NY is the end of their trek bar a couple of days n Iceland on the way back, so I think they plan to just have a bit of a blow out

And Happy Birthday to your daughter

Excellent. Glad they enjoyed it. Get one of those NYC passes and just go mental and get to as many things as you can.
The absolute musts to do are the top of the rock at night and the empire state building during the day (or the other way round). The Staten Island ferry but do not get off! Go to Ellis Island. Get the subway to Brooklyn and walk back over the Brooklyn Bridge. We had a right laugh at Madame Tussauds. Central Park is good to have a walk around and see the John Lennon tribute thingy.
Ground Zero is heartbreaking but something they just have to do.

Never took much notice but I find that with loads on here, someone will get mentioned so I'll take a look at their threads and normally I have no input at all in them.
Oddly, it's often those who sadly pass away.

Sounds pretty much like what we did when we were there back just after 9/11. I thought you had to get off the Staten Island ferry tho? I'm sure we got off, walked round the other side and got on the next one going back.
Ground Zero was still smouldering when we were there

I know what you're saying but I'm only using Flav as a tool to raise money for a good cause. He's not THAT bad.

Aye, that's what I meant. Get off and straight back on. The other half has told me that they need to go to Broadway as well. Took her to see Mary Poppins on Valentine's Day and I'm still living off the Brownie Points.
