    Default The "DERRY PELE".....

Our Jimmy Mac according to Roy Keane

    In the Express.
Roy Keane says Sunderland's James McClean - the 'Derry Pele' - is the Republic of Ireland's secret weapon at Euro 2012.

He'll barely get a kick, despite being their best player....

By the look of things he's just there as back-up. Trapattoni said the team that played on Monday was the team to start against Croatia. McClean didn't even make the bench.

The 'Derry Pele' is the nickname Derry City fans gave him. Don't blame Keane for that one.

Trap is all about keeping shape and organisation. For all that Jimmy is a good player who also tracks back he won’t want to risk breaking an established team I wouldn’t have thought.
