Default Recommend me a new trainer...

I'd hoped to wait a bit and get something that would do me until the Loch Ness Marathon, but my Adidas Response Cushion 20 have started to fall apart (only had them since Xmas, too).

Need them for road running. I'm doing about 25-30miles per week just now and this will increase to 30-40 miles per week before end of september when I do the Loch Ness marathon.

Neutral/cushioning shoe required and something lightweight but that will last well.

    Over to you....

Go to a proper running shop and ask them, some have machines that analyses your run.

DW mould your foot to find you the best shoe for you.

On an unrelated note I bought some Adidas marathons for general use but been using them for the gym as theyre really comfortable on the treadmill. Might be different on the road though.

I use Nike LunarGlide and I love them to be honest, but saying that, I've always worn them so it's not as if I can compare to anything for you.

Cheers - I will go to a proper running shop, but generally they hand you 5-6 pairs to try - I thought personal recommendations might help narrow it down.

Thats why I don't get reviews for running shoe. Go to start fitness or similar and get them to assess your feet as everyone is different.

Got Brooks Ghost 4. Smart and bouncy. Going to get a pair of Nike Pegasus 28+ too, so I've got a spare pair.
