Default Had one of them runs tonight...

When you just feel so much fitter and faster and you can tell all the training is paying off, before tonight my quickest 6 mile was 59m 55s tonight i did it in 56m 48s so knocked 3 mins off it.

Theres 4 or 5 hills in my route bet i could knock a few more mins off that if it was all flat but the hills give you a better run.

    Well done mate.

I done about 4 miles tonight in around 35 mins. Was rock hard to start with (wasn't in the mood) but once you get a rhythm goin it sorts itself out. Don't think i am pushing myself enough tho as it was an easy route.

Finally found my rhythm and proper breathing on the rowing machine tonight. Makes a big difference. Carried on for a lot longer than usual.

I think it's loads easier tbh. You can almost skip on a treadmill and i've definitely found i'm less knackered doin 5 miles on a treadmill as opposed to out on the streets. Just my opinion like.

Like already said treadmills are easier, but they're also a lot better for your knees. Maybe step up the pace on the treadmill a bit as some sort of compromise?

To be honest though, when training for the great north run last year, I did a lot of treadmill work to start with, then when I knew I could run 10k I got out on the roads. Now I never run if it's not out on the road
