Llorente for Drogba is a must, surely? They need to replace that physical presence and they could revert to a more traditional formation which appeases Torres.
Chelsea will need to compete on the wages which will be difficult, but not impossible for them. Can see them being a force next season.

It looks like they are finally prepared to make big changes. Kalou, Malouda, Essien, Bosingwa, Drogba and Ferreira are all off in the summer, players that have been a big part of their plans over recent years.

It's been coming like, albeit not in the way people have suggested - most are of the opinion that Terry and Lampard need to be the first out of the door but that will simply not happen.

Chelsea can afford any wages they want, I think the champions league win may re-ignite abramovich's interest and we'll see them seriously push for the title this year.

Ah this old theory that has proven time and time again not to be true.....

If x/y/z was playing for man u/arsenal/Chelsea he would bang them in.... Yet time and time again a goalscorer moves to a better club and can't replicate his goal tally, or a striker moves to a smaller club and suddenly starts banging them in.

If this theory worked then the worlds best clubs would have snapped bent up when he played for us. If he can score 20+ in a defensive Sunderland side he would score 40+ for a top team, right..... Ermmmm no.

It's also worth noting that today on SSN they've ran an interview with the agent of Hulk (Porto right midfielder) who reckons Chelsea want him.

    Imagine this team man....

    Cech
    *NEW RB* - Terry - Luiz - A Cole
    Merieles - Romeu
    Hulk - Marin - Mata
    Torres

Not bad like. Although it is rumoured that Mata is off to Real Madrid.

Hulk is a centre forward. Needs to pay central. If he signs, Torres will spit the dummy and be off.

Marin is not that good, luxury player. Most of his best performances have been cameos as substitute. Can pick out YouTube highlights but he is inconsistent and not good enough for a CL winning team.

No he is not. When was the last time you watched Porto?

Just heard on talksport that Sao Paolo have rejected a £20m+ bid from Chelsea for Lucas Moura.

We'll not be in for either I doubt. Little or no resale value after a couple of years. I think Kalou is a canny player though, can play a number of different positions which is always useful too but that's probably been his downfall n all. Wouldn't be surprised to see him turn up at Arsenal, Wenger is supposed to be a fan.

Missing out Ramires there lad. They've got Kevin de Bruyne in for next season too and I can't imagine Ivanovic will get replaced, been one of their better players this season IMO.

    How could I forget Ramires.

They seem to want loads of attacking midfielders. They've had a bid rejected today for Lucas Moura.
