115-113 from two judges, 118-110 from the other in favour of ward...
My point was he was not destroyed anyways.

He has a reason to be fucking cocky.

I think so, i am mostly worried about the bodyshot he throws with his left hand from the southpaw stance.
Hoping Carl's resilience and conditioning can wear Bute down very very late. "hoping" I may add.

Aye, I do thinking it will go the distance like. Has the makings of a good fight. Is the start time midnight?

I don't think so, IIRC Capital FM Arena told Matchroom that both fighters had to be in the ring by a certain time and I don't think it was that late, may of changed though.

Re: Carl Froch v Lucian Bute
Just heard Eddie Hearn say on twitter that fight time should be 12. I did think it was late for a fight in the UK.

Froch v Dirrell was early hours to cater for the yanks.

Yeah remember that. Ring walk about 02:00am. Pretty sure it's a 12:00 from the reading am doing. That would be spot on. Just need to find a bar to show it in Sunderland tonight!

Re: Carl Froch v Lucian Bute
I think the sheer number of big fights Froch has had over the last couple of years might be starting to take it's toll. Bute has been managed very carefully and hasn't really fought one single big name. They've taken this fight now because they think Froch is a little past his best, and I tend to agree. I think Bute might even be the first man to stop Froch. Hope I'm wrong though, I admire the way that Froch doesn't duck anyone.
