Square pegs in round holes mate. He can't beat a man so he can't play the "Sess role". If Seb was replaced with (for the sake of argument) Aiden McGeady you still get the goals, probably even more assists BUT the added dimension of a player who can beat a man on the outside, come inside, switch wings comfortably and also run through the middle.
The only role i could envisage Larsson playing would be to the right of a THREE man midfield playing behind a solitary striker (perhaps in away games).....and being used as cover and an impact sub. This type of line-up perhaps...

Milner would be a fantastic signing for us....in his last season under O'Neill he was played in central midfield.....he played 46 games that season scoring 11 goals and getting a whopping 15 assists.
