The last 20 games see us 10th in the league form guide (best form guide table I can find to a max of 20 games). MON also won two out of the three games prior to those 20.......In short the shite posted on here recently is errrrr shite. We have been a top ten side under MON over a period spanning 2/3rds of the season....Yes we have had a dip recently but then so have every other side in the top ten at some stage. Top and bottom is u can only judge a team over a prolonged period of time and over a period of 23 games we have comfortably been a top ten side so no need for the Prozac or razor blades just yet.

the margins between the mid and bottom premiership teams is fine, this team could be dragged into a relegation battle next season, with some investment we could be comfortably top 10. its upto Ellis Short what he wants to do really.

Sort of my point I guess. MON has taken somebody else's squad and turned them round from bottom 4 after 14 games to a top ten side for the rest of the season. Incredible job given when he came in confidence was on the floor and we had just lost to wolves and Wigan in consecutive games. Imagine what he is capable of achieving given the opportunity to fashion his own team. I also like the fact he has had most of a season to assess what he already has so he can make an informed choice as to who to keep or get rid of, it should ensure he makes good decisions this summer
