    Default Sunday's road closures

The road outside our house is closed from 8am to 2.30pm the only notice we have had is the yellow sign tied to the lampost outside our house, we've had no flyer put through the door or anything which I think was meant to have been put through letterbox's of affected people.

Just put up with it, a great event coming to our city, it shouldn't have come as a fucking surprise to you!

Nice and easy for you to get out and support the runners too!

But you've been given notice - you've had yellow signs telling you the roads are closed, they went up last weekend round my neck of the woods; so what difference would a flyer have made? They have been going around putting them through letterboxes, I got one and my road isn't even being closed!

You're just whining because you've been slightly inconvenienced - some of the moaning about this event beggars belief, the reporting of people squealing in the Echo has been embarrassing

    Are you Brian?

This fella's even moaning on behalf of other people!

To be honest mate, I'm sure you know that there's a 10k race outside yer house every year - up to you to find out about it IMO.

I'm not moaning about the event, just that if your road is closed can you still get off the drive in your car if needs be, with the help of a marshall or some thing?

They've changed the route this year though.
