    Default Giving it Vs

I was just re-watching Cisse's goals from the other night (puts me in a good mood for work ) and after the rather bizarre second, I noticed some members of the home crowd had risen and were giving our No 9 the fingers and a mouthful of abuse.

There are plenty of my fellow Mags that do this, and I have seen SAFC supporters dishing it out too. Yet it has to be the most counter-productive gesture a football fan can make - surely it would just make the goal seem all the sweeter to the scorer. It shows that it really hurt.

If the scorer is blatantly posturing in front of the away fans, then it is understandable to an extent, but to do it when a player is simply celebrating a goal is a bit lame like.

Any of you lot do it?

You certainly don't, considering you have never been to a match in your life, you pathetic plastic fuckwit.

I got asked to remove my wallpaper on my computer at work of Phillips celebrating in front of the Newcastle fans due to it being covered in people doing the wanker gesture. :(

Someone mentioned you were "one of the better mag posters" yesterday.

Can you explain why anyone might ever think this?

If you go to a jousting match, at Carlisle Castle, do you give the v's to the 'away' knight, or sing to his followers "where were you when he was shit"? The most extraordinary OP I think I have ever seen.
