About bloody time an all. Took a few years for that cash cow to slow up didn't it. Baring in mind the components in a normal HD compared to a SSD and I put it to you that an SSD's components are worth half of what's in a HD.

They're still pretty unreliable compared to a standard HDD unfortunately, my first one blew up and I know a few people who have had similar problems. That said, I still use one for my boot drive and it's does make a significant difference.

Havent had any problems with the ones ive had in any of my pc's.
